Duck Incubation time.. (first timers)

Ducks take a long time after they pip. Usually will make several pips close to the first spot before they get going. It can take anywhere from 12 hours up to even 48 hours. Probably will be closer to 18-24 hours.

Depends on the situation... ducklings tend to 'punch around' after external pip, this is nothing to worry about... if they create a large hole and keeping sticking their bill out that hole without progressing, that *might* indicate help needed... if they start zipping or zip all the way but stop for longer than an hour, then assistance might be needed then...

Well good news is, two ducklings are out and fully hatched.. not much on the other ones, just see the external pip marks of a couple

Up to three ducklings fully hatched this morning and another one with its head out. Left for work so will have to see when I get home, thankfully wife is on vacation this week to check on them. These girls hatched a little early. Day 28 is Friday.
