I put the wee ones out in their own pen today to clean the brooder pen, found them at my back door after looking out the window 50 times checking on them....

They got through the fencing? Those feathers make them look bigger than they are! Sneaky little critters lol. Still think Cocoa is a drake?

Either through the fence or squeezed between the bars by gate. They weren't out long, I'm paranoid even in a pen (have a falcon or hawk hanging around lately). I am sooo not sure lol. I saw someone post if the butt feathers before tail feathers are dark it's a Drake if light it's female.

Females feather in faster than drakes. Nothing to do with coloring on Muscovy. Sorry you were talking about Cocoa lol did someone with KC knowledge speak up?
