Hi everyone! Someone got hit with the ugly stick, or rather the molting stick! Her sister is finishing up her molt and is just growing in her wing feathers. In other news, I managed to pack up the big “summer pool” before the first snow this year. Yay!

They're gorgeous nonetheless! :love
I love that your KCs and Muscovies each have their own special morning routine, and I really love the colors of your Muscovies! :love
Thank you! :)

I have been asked to respresent Indian runners in my country. I'm really nervous. I know I am the best breeder (it was easy..since the rest are bad breeders for money; there was no breeder for the race, health and character in the first place.. it's like coming first for an olympic run for the best red-haired, dark-skinned, one-legged, 1,5 armed, only fully-armed and legged lovin, Asian atheist that only wants to date amish, leftist..nazi. What are the odds for winning if you are the only one competing! :') ) But I did not really ask for this. I just naturally start a website about them; to educate and inform people. So they (the ducks) would be treated better?

I feel a big pressure to get the right information through. Pff. How Indian runners are treated over here (the Netherlands) is bad. We can learn much from Germany and the U.K. They take it seriously. Breeding is not taking seriously over here but as an "old white rich mans" hobby or an "Animal-abusers hobby"or an "old people (again) who don't know internet hobby". One way or the other; it will always be an stupid hobby. Conserving a race is lame apparenlty..

On the good side; due to this forum I am making serious plans to; when moving to Moldavia and the land-acres will suffice.. get those intersting muscovies...Such interesting ducks.
I pray things go well for you. You will love Muscovies, I'm sure. They're amazing ducks with wonderful little personalities! :)

yup, sadly this happened when my brother was over building a doll house for his daughter before she outgrows toys (she's 10) well... he was eating an orange (my ducks love fruits) and Bella went up to him hissing whilst he ignored her, she grabbed onto his leg and wouldn't let go till e started running around like a lunatic... he then threw apples at them but jokes on him they ate them :)

:yuckyuck

One of my females will reach out and touch as I walk by just to let me know she is there. :loveShe's Miss Congeniality she fits in with the geese the Runners and the Buffs. She's the only one that will go off foraging with the other ducks the other Muscovy hang together.

That's funny. My drake doesn't mind any other animal but when Bella is up when I have treats she grabs the chickens/ducks.
