I have been asked to respresent Indian runners in my country. I'm really nervous. I know I am the best breeder (it was easy..since the rest are bad breeders for money; there was no breeder for the race, health and character in the first place.. it's like coming first for an olympic run for the best red-haired, dark-skinned, one-legged, 1,5 armed, only fully-armed and legged lovin, Asian atheist that only wants to date amish, leftist..nazi. What are the odds for winning if you are the only one competing! :') ) But I did not really ask for this. I just naturally start a website about them; to educate and inform people. So they (the ducks) would be treated better?
I feel a big pressure to get the right information through. Pff. How Indian runners are treated over here (the Netherlands) is bad. We can learn much from Germany and the U.K. They take it seriously. Breeding is not taking seriously over here but as an "old white rich mans" hobby or an "Animal-abusers hobby"or an "old people (again) who don't know internet hobby". One way or the other; it will always be an stupid hobby. Conserving a race is lame apparenlty..
On the good side; due to this forum I am making serious plans to; when moving to Moldavia and the land-acres will suffice.. get those intersting muscovies...Such interesting ducks.
