You're welcome.Thank you
This thread got big over the weekend!

Good luck to you, ducks are very messy but I love them, they are goofy and In my opinion easier to tame than chickens.. (if you have raised them since ducklings) my favorite breed would have to be Pekins, I also love muscovies.Yeah, I love ducks! But to bad I don't have them yet. Once I get more room and maybe build a coop...I mean duck house,,,,,then.....![]()

I wish you luck with your duck house and hope you can get some soon!I think that they both have fairly long feathers. My pekin drake and cayuga drake have long feathers. I too collect feathers fallen from my pekin but I haven't done anything with them yet. Pekins tend to have smaller wings then a cayuga though because they are such a heavy breed. I get pretty nice long feathers of my welsh harlequin drake as well. But I only collect the feather that fall off the ducks when they molt.I do! Which of these three breeds has the longest body feathers? I am learning to weave feathered cloaks.
beautifulI have 15 ducks now. Pekins, blue swedes, blue runners, white crested, and Saxony, and Saxony/blue Swede hybrids.
Thank you! I'll probably start my first flock next year. I'll get ducklings from TSC.Good luck to you, ducks are very messy but I love them, they are goofy and In my opinion easier to tame than chickens..
