My babies are completely thrilled with the rain! They're currently attempting to bridge the many little puddles together in the numerous stretches of barren, cratered wasteland that we once referred to as the back yard! Lol

I'm convinced that my African goose, Maddie, has decided to dig herself back to that continent! Her Chinese juvenile brothers & sisters are unwilling accomplices in her scheme! Although it's entirely possible that it's the other way around! Lol
If y'all don't hear from me for a while, I probably fell into one of these tunnels!:th Don't worry, I need a vacation anyway! Might join my kids on safari! :frow
Sooo true... I wrote a post on hear asking if anyone knew why?❤️

truly it's my pleasure to be a part of the family - I have 3 male and two female Pekin; I was supposedly rescuing 5 females. I'm currently house, no farm hunting, so as to increase the flock exponentially. Nevertheless, I'll keep loving on my current flock and enjoying everyone else's along the way. Thanks for asking.
I rescue ducks too..and tried hard to,for a short time, take in only females, but at the first place we went, my husband said, we’ll take the drakes too...lol.. between the ones we’ve bought and adopted, we have 43...so be prepared and enjoy the ride ❤️

Will do, thanks for the vote of confidence. Just about reached the 30 bird limit. We are in an un-incorporated area of the county, which gives us another important reason to move soon to our very own forever farm. We're all about ready to fly this coop. Furthermore, molting we're doing is truly for the birds, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

That’s wonderful that they men that much to you...and finally finding your dream home and start farming like we did,,,it the best! The more you do. The better you feel...quote from my son...he’s sooo right

My sister was here today...I of course showed her the farm. She’s seen it before but did notice much because my brother was telling people at a dinner and our S shaped pond for our last name..and the race track, the barn, etc...so Debbie...is very fancy pants...I worked her. She toured it all but wouldnt engage with the animals or pet them...she looked. ... butitwas fun. She was definitely impressed with all we’ve created in 8moths. Yeah, I gotta say...it’s hardtostay at thirty bits...so I would move, especially ifyou we’re already planning it...just goor more rural....it’s awesome out her...I’ll tell you a secret. (Chris loves it because he cantinkle out side all day). . Goofy. I love peace and some quitthrough the quacks❤️

Good morning all!! Thought I'd share some pics of my beautiful babies. Giving my 3 runners and my suspect drake pekin lawn time. Also, my double crested *edited to add pics because they didn't attach*
