I find muscovies have more personalities than other ducks, most ducks stick to swimming and preening but my muscovies waddle eating anything they can find or bothering everyone for food.

Ya, they seem lazy right now, sitting but the reflective items and hissing at themselves. They seem very entertained with a mirror.

Muscovies really are wonderful! I do think anyone that loves ducks will love them. Also a great choice if you don't have room for a pond but want ducks. I'd love to see pics of your indian runners, I had a really hard time finding runners that looked like real runners and love what you are doing for your country

Me too! It's so annoying! I went by car to Germany; with a night in a hotel (too long of a drive that can be done in 1 day, Germany is REALLY expensive btw) to get my first good one. It has cost me all together over 500 USD :O The second one also came from Germany; but eggs where send. Which is again 120 USD. But they go to France, Swiss and the U.K. now; the offspring. I'm more internet-active then the few good breeders that are 70+ of age. So it is not for my country; for Indian runner lovers all over borders should be Indian runners like they once were in Indonesia and island around it where they came from; instead of now most of the time; interbred with local ducks. And it's not just the look. I want them to stay unique species of ducks. They are not bred like this by humans; the evolved like this.

Their isn't a day I won't wake up at 5-6. I love waking up early so I can get everything done quicker and have free.
