I have some extra amoxicillin 500mg capsules will that work?

The dose is 125 mg/kg (57 mg per pound) twice a day.
This is the dose I found.

Yes, it’s in a capsule and their is powder in it. I don’t really know how, but I tried putting the powder in warm water and mixing it in, she did not like it at all and I couldn’t get her to drink much at all. If you have info for me that would be great.

So, I had already put them to bed by the time you send it to me and I left earlier this morning and forgot to give it to her. I will try to give it to her tonight when I get home. Pancake is small and I don’t know if the syringe I have is too big to use… if I can get her to just drink it is that ok?

This morning Pancake and Cheddar both had junk in their noses again and I cleaned them out, other than that they seem ok. I will check on them tonight
