Dearest Chrissy, You look like a mini lemon bundt cake. I like mini lemon bundt cakes. Yours in adoration of your webby footy-foots and talent to defecate against a vertical wall, Scovy
Awww, Chrissy says thanks so much and she is blushing from her toes to her bill.

I have the one that is pretty bright red that I'm thinking is what rosetta is. There's a couple of white & the dark ones I was told look Tibetan colored? I could be wrong. Some of the babies are turning gold like the mommas & the dark ones are kind of a mahogany.

I only did a couple of quail hatches, and didn't end up keeping them. (Hubby's emergency surgery kinda threw a wrench in those plans) First hatch of 13 are now with my sister-in-law, so I do get to watch them grow up. Sold the second batch of 25.

I'm not great with the identification either, I was just going by the possibilities of what the guy told me when I got the eggs. I think I read Tibetan and rosetta are basically the same?? I could be wrong also. But yours all look beautiful!! I'm not big on white chickens, but those white quail are stunning! And the sounds they make are adorable, huh?!?!!

My Runner ducklings were good at getting to the edges of puppy pads and ingesting the innards. Bye-bye, puppy pads! Back to old towels.

Then Alba and Salem demonstrated how a determined young duck can tug at a poor-quality terrycloth towel, unravel the strings, and try to ingest those. Bye-Bye, cheap old terrycloth towel. Back to the former good-quality, don't unravel old towels.
