Burds seem to do that..... The way they turn their head and place bill and web on each other begs to be analyzed and categorized and admired by fans of duck. Their very essence makes burd-luvers experts on Cute. It is amazing how they just manage to hypnotize so many people into becoming flippyweb servants! Those innocent lil hoooopooose burds have us twisted around their pinky..... Er, web!

Blacks... splash should look more like this... this is a Call, but the color is called by several names... silver or lavender but is really splash...



ETA: watch the Pekin for leg issues and/or sitting lots more than normal...
Just a tip... make sure you zip tie the top of handle slightly higher and another zip tie at the bottom of handle secured a little lower... otherwise they can spin it around, lol...

The Pekin walks kind of funny, kinda like a peg leg but seems to be fine. She keeps up with "the mob" and the adults, she just looks funny when she walks. Her legs are a good bit thicker than my adult Pekins. We'll see, she seems healthy.

It is. They are so sweet, and just wanna cuddle. They greet me every morning by running to the front of the brooder and peeping!

I sure will. I'm sure that Chrissy will get even more spunky than usual when she hears that she is famous.

It couldn't be anything else- these sweet baby webz have taken over my life!

Aww, that's cute! My Puddles loves cuddling, too, and Quackers does also to some degree. They're getting older, though, so hopefully they'll stay this way!
How big are yours now? You should see my WHs, they're starting to grow in their feathers already, and they're only two weeks old!

My duck (Harmony the CO) is getting.... RED feathers! They are literally red, like natural red hair colored. Absolutely gorgeous girl! I'll post pictures tomorrow, if I get a few comments on my thread for her, because if no one comments, I don't know if y'all are still interested!

Too big! I'll weigh them soon, but they are twice the size they were when I got them.

I've never seen a duck with red feathers either, she doesn't have many, but by next week, she should be almost fully feathered (she'll be 5 weeks) I'll post pics tomorow, thanks for telling me you read, I just need to know people are interested
