duckling food question UPDATE

everyone gets different results, i think. but like i said in my own experience, i don't trust chick starter for ducklings due to my duckling dying.

well the local feed store was able to get me a bag today of un medicated Purina Game Bird Startena from their Purina rep. Orig. they were going to get a bag off the regular delivery truck tomorrow afternoon. Even sold it to me less than the retail price $10 including tax for a 50# bag. Ya Don't see that kinda service from most vendors of any product/service these days. They have my business forever. This stuff is 30% protein! High octane stuff! Im wondering if it will burn in my diesel truck! lol

It is really strange the different results people have with different feeds. I raised my first runners with chick starter, but then I hatched another breed and before I knew what was going on I had two die. So the next runners I hatched I thought they would be fine on chick starter just like their parents. Well that was not the case, I almost lost a few with that hatch until I switched. It was in a matter of hours that I could see the difference!!

thats's exactly what i fed my babies!!! they are healthy beautiful duckies now!! glad you chose that one!! that's a good deal!!! i got mine at a feed store about 15 miles from me (after getting in arguments with several feed stores closer to me) and it was almost 20 bucks. good deal!!!
