Duckling leg problems - advice

This is what I found:

If this is it might not have enough niacin in it.

I was wondering about this... because I remember reading on Metzers' site that if you feed ONLY 20% protein that it should be fed for a longer period of time than if you...

* If you cannot find a starter feed with at least 22% protein, then you can use a 20+% protein starter feed but you must use it for at least four weeks.

Injury or deficit... with that duckling gaining weight every day, I suspect it could continue to get progressively harder.

A crop injury adds another layer to this mystery. :(

Ornery kitty! :love

I'm sorry it took so long to answer, family stuff happened.

The duckling is still unable to walk or swim. I've started him on Niacin and I wrapped his legs to keep them straight. I hope this all helps him.

I have a now 22-day old Pekin duckling that has leg problems. His legs cross over one another between the knee and foot. He can't walk and just kind of pushes himself along the floor or ground. I was trying to work with him by letting him swim in the bathtub but today he can't even swim. His legs hit one another causing him to go under and the only way he can keep his head above water is if I hold his chest up.

I had hoped it was just a small problem but I'm thinking now he'll have this for the rest of his life. I have no info on disabled ducks or keeping a duck in the house. So any advice would be wonderful and maybe even some ideas on something I can make him at home that will help him walk.

He started out 100% normal but after a fall he's become like this. He's eating and drinking, peeping and seems happy otherwise.

Try wrapping his feetand a piece of plastic underneath his feet with medical tape separately and some that stretchy tape stuff.
