Yes, I only referred to Quip as they since I was unaware of their gender. (Also, I myself am male)

The vet said it was a problem with their crop, a lot worse then crop problems usually were. They did say there was a procedure that might save them, but the chances were slim and it would likely be painful.

Thanks so much to all of you for all the support. We're planning to keep Loongu (Quip's adopted mother) inside for one more day, then return them to the flock.
