I think I've got it. I'm obssessed.

Golden 300, Fawn&White Runner, Welsh Harlequin and Buff - in that order. My kids have been wanting to 'adopt' one and they have been demanding to know the breeds because they specifically wanted a certain breed. Funny kids.

The Runners actually stand up straight occasionally just to walk around and the others don't do that.

I fell in the love with one of the Welsh ones- I named her Maggie.

But once again- if Metzers write me back and they divulge what's what- I'll be sure to update the thread for future people maybe struggling to tell also.

Haha Yup! I cloth diapered my kids and it sure paid off. Now I have all these leftover flats and prefolds that have a zillion uses. And I can bleach them and beat them up. Love it!

You are correct on your last duckling order. We ordered some goldens and a welsh and they are definitely #1- golden and #3 welsh and #4 looks like a buff and that leaves #2 the runner. They are so cute - congrats!

Thanks! New to ducks - it's not easy to take the word descriptions and just know. I am glad to have my final order confirmed. I felt fairly confident I was correct- now I feel even better about telling the kids what they are. Some wanted Runners and some wanted the 300s. I had to stare at them for a loooong time last night and their markings. LOL And Metzers simply replied- look at your packing slip. Helpful. lol

Can you help me identify them? I'm having a hard time.
Fawn & White runners - white band
Golden 300 - white band
Welsh harlequin - brown band
Buff- brown band
Attaching a sample of each.

Ignore the size difference. It's camera angle. They are all really the same size.
Ok my attempt to put them in their breed order by looking at Metzers pics.

I have raised all these breeds except for the golden. The 2nd one is definitely your runner. They are usually smaller, and have a slight buff color around the eyes. The Welsh will have a grayish head and feet, and your buff will look very similar to a pekin until she starts to feather.
The first one is the Golden. See the strip on top of the head? And the feet have patches? Those are traits for that breed
