ducks scared of their own shadow!

i dangled a cat ball from the mesh roof of the run with some string so the ducks could play with it and they were terrified! they ran into the house and refused to come out until i removed the ball i couldnt even get them out with peas while the ball was still there

those pics have nothing to do with the cat ball thing but meh

on that last pic louis looks like he has black eyes coz of donald beating him up

ducks are just silly... they hate change of any sort, but they get over it quickly... you can just leave the cat ball out in their run and they'll get used to it being around. It helps if you show them the ball, or hold them while you show them it so they know it's not scary

Mine love the cat balls but HATE anything that dangles down from above them. They hiss and run away. When they were little I thought it was because they were afraid it was a predator but they are both big ducks now and still hate dangly things...even leaves from the trees.
