Prior years, I used the galvanized 2 or 3 gallon, on the galvanized heated base. Worked like a charm. I just hate replacing them every year, they get so nasty.

Those are great. I have a Blue Swedish in my flock. She's a hyper spaz but I love her anyway.2 or 3, still thinking about it. I’m getting blue Swedish and I am already over the moon with excitement!
Are they very friendly? I am looking for a friendly breed. Those are great. I have a Blue Swedish in my flock. She's a hyper spaz but I love her anyway.
Can't offer insight on that, I only have one. Ducks aren't made with cookie cutters, lol.Are they very friendly? I am looking for a friendly breed.
We have two of those in our egg house sometimes we have to take them apart and get the float mechanism cleaned up really good or they self drain out, overall they are a pretty good product if you keep them out of the Sun so algae doesn't grow. This is my favorite waterer for ducks. It does not backwash their muck back into the bucket. Every other waterer i have gets dirty inside too. This one stays clean inside. Just refill and go.
