Dying chicks

I've lost yet another chick! 4th loss in 4 days! I bought 12 chicks Friday. 2 Ameraucanas (healthy), 3 Black Australorps (healthy), 3 SLW, 4 Buff O. 2 BO dead, 2 SLW dead. Brooder conditions are good (temp good, fresh water and food, fresh bedding daily, etc.) Medicated chick starter only. Electrolyte water rotated with fresh. They become lethargic, don't want to move. Will eat & drink if done by hand, perks up, then dies. Just now noticed bloody runny stool on dead chicks vent. No others had that. What on earth is happening to these babies? Should I start antibiotics? What to do???

is it possible they were vaccinated for coccidiosis? If they were and you're feeding them medicated feed, it could nullify the vaccine.

They were not vaccinated, I asked that specifically. They're about a week old. I forgot that part.

Yes, I've seen this. With mine being only a week old, I thought they might be too young to definitely say for sure?

No they are not too young.
I can not say for sure, but that would be my first guess.

Thanks! I've isolated the last SLW because I thought I saw a tiny bit of blood. I put a paper towel down to check but no blood so far. I'm going to keep her isolated for a while longer though. I'm just sick and heartbroken!
