eagle eye/ i think she is slowly dieing!!! :-(

i have been giving her pediolight down her beak with a dropper for a couple days now and she drinks that. also she is starting to eat the eggs when i give them to her. i never thought of yogurt though i'll try that. Also to StephineD: every night she has had this i have been praying every night that she will survive and so far at least she hasn't died! you read my mind! thanks for the comment

ok guys i think i just figured out Eagle eyes new favorite food. Gogurt! i tried the yogurt in the baby dropper tip (thanks for the tip by the way i would have never thought of putting it in the dropper!) and she ate 75% of the Gogurt! i also have seen a major improve on her reflex's. one of my cats jumped up on the garage fridge and she popped her head up and wouldn't stop looking at her until i shooed away the cat!

If one hen has bugs, they all have them and the coop has them. Guaranteed. Be sure to treat the coop and dust your other chickens or they will all end up like Eagle Eye. Then dust them all again in a week.

I hope she pulls through, she was near death's door there for awhile and I'm so glad she's perking up. It'll take her at least a few days to recover from this, she lost a lot of blood and her body will have to replenish it.

Thank you BYchicken i will be sure to keep her in there until she can walk eat/drink and lay eggs again. also we were planning on doing the other chickens and coop today but it started raining and they all got wet so we couldn't put the powder on them so we will do them and their house tomorrow. c'mon Eagle Eye keep fightin! hopefully no other chickens end up like her!

if you not already, give her some vitamins in her food, some times they can get a vitamin deficiency that can make them very weak and unable to walk. you can give her some vit. B complex and vit. E, may help her out some, give her some needed strenght, so glad she is doing better.
