East RIver - South Dakota

Thanks mystry. I'm hoping to find someone local who has some to spare or fertilized eggs as I don't need or want a full hatchery order. Thanks for the info though, much appreciated.
I have a hen setting on some now, hoping for the best and warmer weather if/when they do hatch.

Hello, I'm not sure if I missed information on here about this yet. What precautions should backyarders be taking because of the bird flu? Any changes in collecting eggs, free ranging, cleaning coops, etc?
Thanks,
Angela

I haven't changed anything really either. I've always kept things pretty clean to keep the neighbors happy, and I don't have wild bird feeders up anyway after the dog brought a dead bird into the house (and put it on my bed!!!). I've cut back on their time in the yard some, I guess, but that's less about bird flu and more about keeping the garden plants safe.
I know we're in the migratory birds' flight path, but it's not like they land IN my yard or even close by, so I don't think there's much else I can do.
