Easter Egger and Ayam Cemani mix

hello! I just completed my first hatch! We had a 98% hatch rate! My question is...

We hatched some EE/Ayam Cemani chicks ( mom is EE and dad is Cemani)

Would the proper breed name be Fibro Easter Eggers?

Has anyone hatched these? What color eggs have you gotten from them?

They wouldn't have a 'proper breed name' as they are mixes.... just a fibro mix is what I would say... *if* the pullets inherited a blue egg gene, then they could be fibro EE's...

Yep, I just call them fibro Easter Eggers, because that's what they are No real breed name for them. Mine have always feathered out all black, but I also used a black hen to create them, so that's not surprising to me, lol. What colors yours end up will depend on what color the mother is, I suspect. They lay green eggs.

The color yours lay depends on whether the hen they are from carried 2 blue genes, or just 1... if she carried 2, then all pullets would lay green... if only one, only approx 50% of the offspring (males and females) would get a blue egg gene... the pullets that don't inherit it in that circumstance would lay a cream/tan... only way to know for sure is to grow them out til they start laying and see...

Do you have more pics of these now that they are older? I've got 4 eggs incubating now from my Cemani hen (and Easter Egger Rooster). Just wondering what they are looking like! Thanks!
