I'm still holding onto a sliver of hope that just maybe it could still turn out pullet. Again.. I know I'm just in denial.

Just wanted to follow up to let you all know that I received my first and final gender confirmation today. It's a boy!

Currently reaching out to our great local chicken community to find a good home. Thank you all for your guesses!

In the future the red/rust in the shoulders (in addition to the comb) is a pretty clear indicator that the youngster is a cockerel.
