Oh I love chicken alfredo, and it has been such a long time since I made it. That is what I'm having tonite. Thank you for the recipe. Nice and easy, warm good comfort food. MMMMM........
 
I haven't made it while either. PC inspired me to thow together a nice big pan of creamy chicken deliciousness.

I have no stabilizer. I am going to the fabric store tomorrow!
 
Yes, you can use half and half. you can even use whole milk. But. There is always a but. With those you might have to tighten the sauce up a bit on your own by either using a cornstarch slurry or adding a little flour to the oil and butter before the milk goes in. It is nothing more than a milk gravy that isn't so thick.
