throw that garlic salt away and just keep garlic powder and onion powder on hand. That way you control the salt.

Sounds like a plan. After wrecking the quiche I'll never touch that stuff again.

I have the stuff going for the alfredo. I'm hoping Amanda gets home while it's still hot. She has to close tonight and that makes it later than usual.

Note to self: Remember to cook the chicken while everything else is cooking. Everything is just about done and I finally remembered to start cooking the chicken I cut into cubes earlier.

I just saw this thread. I made the same thing for dinner tonight, but I used small scallops. They were on sale for $4.99/lb and they made yummy pasta. Even the picky child like it, and asked for the left overs to be packed as lunch tomorrow.
 
My fridge could be empty but there will always be fresh garlic and
onions around somewhere.

Hopefully I'll learn to grow garlic this year.
