Economy stinks..how bout some free eggs? PA - WINNERS pg 14

I just love silkies!! I only have one buff girl, and she needs some buddies, other than the whites, blacks, and lone cuckoo cockerel she has to choose from. It would make my 4 y/o DS's day to have more 'fluffy babies'! The buffs are the prettiest, imo

As an after thought, I figure I should clarify. I don't have any silkies, they are all my 4 y/o's.

I could really use some good silkie stock in my breeding program. I have beautiful Orpingtons from Christina and Cynthia already, but the silkies really could use help. I may be one of the few people in the state actually breeding them. Please?

Resorting to begging?? That's low.....I'd rather use the 'puppy dog eyes' tactic

Jody, it is soooo nice of you & Charlie to do this!! I promise to do the same if you choose me. If all goes as planned, we'll have BBS, Buff & Lavender Orps, Red & Light Grey Dorkings, White Silkies and perhaps some unique projects of our own to share.

As you know, I'm so crazy about your Lavender Orpington Project that I spent most of last Sunday in my car with my kids to get a few! What a drive!! I did it because I know I would never be able to afford the eggs & would love to work on furthering your lines. They are so beautiful!! My son Noah & I also have some ideas for our own breeding projects using the lavender as a component. My daughter Sammy said we should get them because Elton needs a lavender girlfriend!

While we were there, I should've asked if you would sell me some Buff Orpington eggs! I realized that when we were somewhere near Scranton...lol. I only have 1 buff roo & I don't know how typey he'll be. All of your birds are so gorgeous!

I would be thrilled have the opportunity to hatch either your Buff or Lavender Project Orpingtons, or even a mix of both!!! Pretty please!!! Here's a pic of Noah & his new best chicken buddy Elton:

I absolutely love your Lav. Orp. project birds..I am trying to establish breeding stock and any of your Orps I'm sure would improve the quality of my flock. I appreciate the fact that you have worked so hard to improve the color and quality. I would feel a little guilty from getting the benefit of your hard work, but it would be an honor to add any of your stock to mine...

What a beautiful thing to do Jody.

I would like to be considered for some Araucana eggs...those magnificent beauties!

Jody, I have admired your Araucanas from afar for quite some time now...actually, ever since I joined BYC last fall. I was hoping to buy some from you this fall so that I would have a winter project to keep me busy. But my DH was laid off from work (indefinitely) in April, so our financial situation is very serious. And obviously, since my family's needs take precedence over my desires, the Araucana hatching eggs have been pushed to the backburner...indefinitely, just like my DH's layoff. Here's a couple of "persuasion pics" of my son and one of his feathered friends...he just loves his chickies. If we were blessed with some gorgeous Araucana hatching eggs...well, quite honestly...it would reaffirm our belief that there are still good things happening in this world and hope is still alive.
