Pip #2 well underway. These two are early risers; not due 'til tomorrow, but chicks still don't wear watches

Hey there! Good to see you again.Lots of variables go into whether they're early or late. Or survive at all.
I may have posted this before but here it is again and all hatchers should have a copy of it.

In answer to your earlier question about my ad for eggs. There was a little interest and 2 orders. One I can't fill because it is in the Philippines. I showed the guy all the requirements for shipping from the US to the Philippines. He said he bought some from the UK with no paperwork. I said I wasn't willing to circumvent the regulations.
I agree. Nothing to be done but wait.Hey there! Good to see you again.
Yeah, I know some about the variables. I think the biggest problem is that an incubator that was holding steady between 99.5 and 100 for several days empty suddenly started jumping all over the place when a dozen eggs were introduced. Nothing to be done at this point, on day 20, except wait for the final outcome, & try to learn from it.
Sounds typical for you; running in 17 directions at once.I agree. Nothing to be done but wait.
The cabinet incubator I built has crazy overkill on both controllers and high wattage heat elements. It will come to temperature and maintain in about 15 minutes no matter how many eggs are in it.
Depending on the incubator, IMHO when eggs are introduced to an incubator that is holding steady there is nothing to do but sit on one's hands till it settles down. An empty incubator that is holding steady will be in a tailspin when that mass of cool eggs goes in.
I've been extremely busy. I drove to Arkansas and brought home 3 bee hive nuclei. I've been trying to install them when the temp creeps up close to 70 so the brood doesn't get chilled but am able to prevent them swarming.
Trying to build trap nests and roll out nests for 5 coops.
I was recruited to join a second pool league because their best player had to switch shifts at his job.
For Wednesday's league, tonight is the first night of playoffs.
For Thursday's league, I'm sure we'll make the playoffs but we have to do well the last 2 weeks.
In speaking with seller she promptly boxed up today’s eggs and is shipping tomorrow. Cost of shipping only. Didn’t want anymore money even though it wasn’t her fault. I’ll be sending her a couple pens.Sounds like they had a rough trip.
