Meet Bella. Or at least I think Bella my special scissor beak. I’ve rehomed all her brothers already as they all had thick red combs and were crowing but today upon looking at Bella closer she has shiny tail feathers that looks suspicious. Her sisters comb is already starting to get reddish and Bella’s isn’t at all and no wattles however her comb is also a bit thicker then her sisters but no where near as thick as her brothers. Should I be worried? She’s 11 weeks. Last picture is the shinny tail feathers that have a green hue to them.

I am 100% sure he is a cockerel. He has male-specific feathering
Can you tell me what part makes you think that? Is it a colouring pattern? I’m totally new to EE but I know the tail makes me wonder however the fact that there is zero comb color makes me hopefully and no waddles at getting close to 3 months.

He’s a cockerel. He has pointed saddle feathers (before his tail) and pointed feathers on his shoulders. His pale comb is probably related to the fact that he has a crossbeak.
