Egg bound quail maybe?

I see this quail, 7 weeks old, no eggs, there is a lump thingy in the bottom part of her body closest to the ground that pulsates, could be an egg, she always squats and might be trying to lay an egg, is she egg bound?

She never laid a single egg in her whole life.

She could be having trouble with her first egg. I suggest a warm sitz bath with epsom salts.

She can poop, and on the internet it says that chickens cannot poop when they have an egg, is that a good thing that she can poop?

7 weeks old seems a bit too young to be having egg problems, I didn't think they started laying till much older, but then I've not had quail before!

Okay, I take it back! I've just googled and apparently they can start laying that early! I had no idea.

Cant find it, she always tries to scratch and attack me with her toenail whenever i look underneath her tail
