Egg Song! Glorious Egg Song!

@tntchix Moneypenny (Sebright) lays a very pretty small cream colored egg. I blew the first one so I could keep it

Then we have a few girlies that are laying egg-normous ones!

Hi

Can I just ask if a cockeral stops his daily song because he was hen pecked, is he likely to start again?

first egg on L
Day 6, todays egg on R
camera turned on me

Yay! There they are!

How neato! My gal that started laying last Tuesday has given me an egg a day except for on Thursday, and she's in the nest box right now "doing her thing"!! But her eggs have barely increased in overall size yet, they're a bit bigger but now much. Yours are obviously bigger...waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

That's okay, I still love my little BA, just wish the other three would get their little butts in gear, too!

Looks like four of my six are laying, as of today. I think my second little BO is online. Now waiting for the Australorps to start, and they look like they need more time. I took three of the girls into the garden with me yesterday. Were they never excited: strawberries! kale! weeds! Now I wan to rehome the guinea fowl. They're way too noisy over nothing at all.

@dutchlion what a cute egg.

It's officially official. I saw it with my own eyes.

Angel is the only egg layer but Janet is close. She was hanging out in the box next to her so soon maybe.

OK, technically I was stalking them, but they're my chickens so...

Haha! Join the club (The chicken stalking club). I love to watch my chickens go about their day. It's fascinating and so much fun!

The first time I saw one of our chickens lay her egg, I was actually emotional about it. Lol! Silly maybe, but it's like a gift they are giving you and it can't be all that fun for them. They're precious.
