A few more hours and in they go. Wooohooo!!

I've got buff orpingtons, barred rocks, and barred/buff mixes. So as far as I know, they could all be mixes just depends on what roo got to what hen. AND, I've got the all important blue\\black\\splash orpingtons.

I have a total of 35 eggs going in. I should have some luck this time you'd think.

Deniece, sorry I'm late in sending hatching vibes your way! I am so tired, I'm shaking tonight. My six fat little chicks are in the brooder, 15 more in the hatcher entering Day 19 and the little Barred Rock straggler still in the Hova a few days behind. I hope your hatch goes beautifully and you get 100%!

Well, they are off! Went in at 5:00pm MT. Found one cracked egg as I was putting them in the bator, so I'm already down to 34 eggs.

Not going to go check the temps, because it takes a long time to get them up to temp. Now, I have 7 days to come up with a decent candler. Maybe I'll go to the thrift shops and see if I can find an old slide projector. I'm still kicking myself, must have thrown away half a doz of those when I moved my mom. (dad was into photography.)

So, that makes tomorrow day 1 right? Ok, keeping my fingers crossed.
