When I cross a full celadon to a non, it’s been my experience that the offspring produce eggs that are blue inside. Some are both blue in and out, but have normal spots. I think it’s safe to assume that eggs that are blue inside are from het celadon carriers.I know this thread is over a year old, but I'm just reviving it as my single laying hen is laying eggs with blue inside and wondered wether anyone ever figured out the mystery?
In Australia where I am it's super difficult to find celadons so would be cool to know that there's a carrier gene here!
