Ok? So, how do I make her normal again? She is like my own baby. I can’t lose her. I just want to help her. Do you know how to make her rectum area back to normal?
Well, I’ve been looking at other prolapsed hens and they don’t look like hers. She doesn’t have tissue coming out her vent. She is acting normal. Her vent was just dirty. So, I decided to clean it off and then I realized that it was swollen and has puss spots around it.
Do you mean the vent is swollen or the abdomen?View attachment 1829421 I have a Female OEGB that’s a year and a half old. She has a swollen rectum with puss like spots around her rectum. Please help. She is like my baby. I tried to clean the poop around her rectum. That’s why it looks wet around her rectum.
Can you not see the photo posted above?Well then I really don’t know. Most prolapsed hens have their organs hanging out. Maybe a hernia? But the puss doesn’t conclude to anything. So you might have to do some research.
Can you not see the photo posted above?
It clearly does not show a prolapse.
I don't mean to be rude so don't take this the wrong way...if you don't know what you are talking about be sure to say so. You can unnecessarily scare someone for no reason by saying something that is completely wrong.
