Thanks everyone for the concern and for such positive comments , she is alive and well after the surgery. Started her on water and some yougurt in small portions . Will post the pictures soon when I change her bandage. And yes it was a skin graft to just close up the crop so that the food wont leak out . Crop is and was fine . Thank you .

I see a few typos in that article. Doesn't exactly seem like a reliable source, but like Sapphire said, seems like just another name for impacted crop.
