EMERGENCY HELP PLEASE!

So, I accidentally fed my baby chicks mealworms, corn, and other feed that wasn’t right for theor age. Now two of their crops are swollen and one of them is having trouble breathing. I don’t know what to do and I terrified of loosing these babies. Can someone PLEASE help me figure out what is going on?????

Leave them alone.
The crop should empty tonight.

If it's not empty by the morning let us know.


How old are your chick?
Please, don't feed them anything but chick feed anymore.
It's formulated to be a complete balanced diet.
Feeding them treats just takes away from the balanced diet.

I will do. I honestly am not very sure how old my chicks are because I got them from tractor supply. Thank you so much! (Is there anyway I can tell how old they are for sure?)

Never offer any age bird any thing besides chicken feed unless you offer a grit too.

I would never feed treats to chicks.

What are they drinking?

Also... It looks like you have them in a plastic container, correct?
Is that a red head lamp?

Go get a thermometer and see what it reads when placed under that light.

You do not want to over heat them.
