Ewww, that’s GROSS!!!

Hello fellow peeps!

I was thinking about this group and all the different experiences with chickens we all have. I’m really curious as to see.... What’s the yuckiest thing you’ve ever seen your chickens eat??? Now I know it’s not always good to have your feathered friends eat strange things, but I had to know!
I’ll get first:
One of my hens found a dead baby mouse( mousling?), and picked it up by its tail and ate it whole!!!!! She then acted as if nothing ever happened!

Again, just curious!

Yuk! I have witnessed one of my girls eating a baby snake. She lapped it up like spaghetti!!!!

HELLO! The grossest thing one of my clucksters ate was a half smooshed snake laying about on the road. How it got there I don't know. But the gross thing was it kept twitching as they ate it...

I know is not gross but its weird,My polish named April ate a marshmallow and a chary pit,and her kid tired to eat a pacifier she found.

My flock has killed a small toad and played keep away with it dangling from it's back leg in their beaks. I don't know if they actually ate it though.

They did eat a fledgling baby bird, feathers and all. I don't know if they killed it. I suspect they did.

Mine are certainly a vicious lot! I don't call them the Heathen Horde for no good reason.

Seeing them rifle through dog poo to get the bugs out is pretty nasty.
