Exciting New Brinsea App Controlled Incubator - Testers Journey!

I have not. I have an older Brinsea and I saw the feature on it but assumed it wasn't for chicken eggs as I'd never heard of it, until you. Like @2ndTink, I just don't know enough about it but might give it a whirl on the next batch in Jan/Feb. I'm of the mind that if it's not broke, don't fix it, but perhaps there's still something to be said for giving this a try. I highly doubt it would hurt the eggs, and who knows, maybe it'll help!

It does help from my experience with using the cooling cycle.

The cooling cycle make sense since the hens get off the nest every day. Brinsea is not the only company offering this and I don't think they are the first. I will at least try it when I get the chance.

My set is coming along well, we are on Day 5 today! I did a quick peak in the eggs and we are over 70% developing in the Connect.

So far all is going smoothly with the incubator, the only thing I've done is peak in the eggs. Zippo on anything else.

Real world Connect news today! I was out running errands and recieved a low humidity alarm from the Brinsea app. When I opened the app it also had a power failure alarm!

I got home and checked everything, all is well, the power must have barely blipped, phew! And yes, the humidity had dipped, my fault on that one

15 days to go for me! Saturday after next, ugh the wait! But, I know it is necessary.

I also have a couple 18 week old pullets, I don't want them to lay too young, but, I am also so anxious to get those eggs and see what colors they lay!!!
