Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

YAY! Can't wait to hear what your having!!!! What do you think it is?

Early pregnancy I was fairly certain it was a boy, especially because I haven't been nearly as nauseous this pregnancy. My daughter is convinced its a girl. I'm sure one of us is right, hopefully this bugger isn't too modest!!

Well I hope one of you is right!

Although by the amount of heartburn I have been having, I swear I am having this...

I hate heartburn! It isn't bad yet, but we went to a seafood restaurant in Houston on Sat. night and I ate one (baked) oyster and one stuffed shrimp and I thought I was going to die!! I woke up at 1:30am in misery! Luckily my DH was willing to go out and get the Tums for me...

Whelp, spoke too soon. I'm nauseated now.

Mine started a day before I hit 6 weeks...on my birthday...at Chili's. I ate the appetizer, they brought the meal, and I had to run for the bathroom!

I was then nauseous and lived on rice/crackers for the next 12 weeks solid.

newlyweds - take the Tamiflu. The baby and I had the full-blown flu a couple weeks ago and it was HORRIBLE...lasted over a week. DH got it and they gave him Tamiflu...he was better in 2 days.

Ok, I'm still 40 minutes away from my ultrasound and I really, really, really need to pee!!! I even cheated and only drank 3 glasses of water instead of 5! (Where's a pee-pee dance smiley when you need one!!

My Doc didn't ask me to have a full bladder, he even still made me give a urine sample before going into the room. I didn't think they did that anymore. With my SIL she begged them to let her pee, they said she could pee just a tiny bit, so she did, but then when they did the ultrasound they said her bladder was too full and they made her pee some more

I agree, but I have had to make myself a couple times. I always have the first appointment in the morning, so when I wake up I have to pee bad, but at the appointment I have to give a sample, so I have had to force myself to save some, and it actually hurts!

Ok, here HE is! Yep, it's a boy

A very uncooperative, squirmy boy! I love ultrasounds - the poor tech had such a hard time getting a good shot of everything. She'd have it perfect, then he'd move...

I am the exact same way! That's why I only drank the 3 glasses of water (they didn't say a word!).

Kelsey, with my daughter's ultrasound over 5 years ago, they wanted me to have an empty bladder. They even had me go pee before I went in to make sure it was completely empty. I think the full bladder thing is just a way to torture women...
