Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

suzettex5 where did you go? Everything OK? Just haven't heard from you in a while? Have you told Hubby yet? Sorry don't mean to give you the 3rd degree, just haven't heard from you.

My husband and requested the day off of work on the 23rd for the first appointment. Hopefully they will grant it.

In the meantime, we still haven't told the family, but I felt like I needed to tell my boss. That way should be aware of any reasons why I had to get up and run to the bathroom. In downtime between clients about 2 months ago we got to talking about kids and I told her that we were trying, but nothing was happening after 2 years. I think she was as excited as we were when we found out.

I didn't think I would have cravings, but my goodness, I'm loving some fruit and veggies right now. Fruit cups, bananas, dried fruit, veggie sticks, whatever!

I am not having cravings either (yet)... But when I eat something and it is yummier than normal, it's on!! I either pig out, or eat it several times in a row. So far I am in love with only 2 things, roasted red bell peppers or a good salad.

Anyone have random people rub your stomach? I had some strange broad (in more ways than one) who I have no idea who the heck she is--come up to me and rub my belly in Safeway!

She asked me when I was due. IF I was thinking faster and not exhausted, I would have said, "I'm not pregnant, I just need to work out."

I will have ot remember that.........

I mean seriously--WHO DOES THAT? Really? I don't even LOOK THAT pregnant...at least to myself. I can still zip my coat and wear non-maternity jeans but today I was wearing dress pants for court & a black sweater. A large one...that's pretty baggy...but apparently this broad saw right through it...

Weird people, people that don't think first, people that like to live on the edge, or people that would like to start a fight maybe? I don't know, I give up.

But I would never, ever, ever do that to anyone. Even if they were obviously pregnant. That's just wrong on so many levels. I do not like to be touched, without good reason!(Hubby is excluded, he does not have to have permission

) But most especially by a stranger. PAWS OFF, or you may get punched before I have time to think....

Hey guys! I'm still here, just been laying kinda low...not feeling the best (up and down w/the morning sickness and exhaustion).

Well, the big news is- I told hubby last night!! It did not go well

He first accused me of making it up to scare him, then he started to panic. He actually sounded like he was going to cry, and not in a good way. I felt (and still feel ) guilty for telling him, for adding to his load of stress and things to worry about.
It did help to tell him I was approved for health insurance, I think that took some of the weight off his shoulders to know he wont have to foot the entire bill, (unless they cancel us for any reason, but I didnt tell him that) just the deductible and co-pays.

He was a bit better today. If nothing else, he is an optimist

, and made a comment like "Oh well, I guess I'm just going to have a big family" and then later he said "Maybe you'll get the girl you want". I soooo wanted to tell him about the intelligender test I took, but I decided not to. I'll just be happy with whatever I get. I figure I'll probably have another boy, since thats all I seem to pop out these days (4 boys in a row so far!!).

Its been kinda rough since we have my cousin living here with us with her 3 kids until she gets a full time job and her own place (which should be in the next 2 weeks), so I have been watching her kids while she has been working a part time job. I've been dealing with EIGHT kids for the last few weeks, and hubby has been out of town for the last week (just got back yesterday, guess I coulda let him relax abit before dropping the bomb, but I couldnt help it, I was soooo stressed and tired, and really need his support) so I have really been burning the candle at both ends lately.

Anyways! Enough about me! I wanna hear from ya'll!!

I wanna know, WHO misses sleeping on their tummy??? I am still early enough in the preg to get away with it and be comfy, but I know as time goes by, it becomes impossible!
Anyone who lays awake at night dreaming of sleeping on their tummy the minute they get home from the hospital? I sure remember that feeling!

What about craving protein??? I have been a monster about wanting to eat steak and prime rib and lunchmeats and hamburgers, anything with meat! (NO hotdogs though, they give me rough indigestion) Am I weird? Usually I crave sweets and Mcdonalds egg mcmuffin sandwhiches.
