Yes, this is my first....the doctor said they will be keeping a close eye on things and then will start the series of shots if she thinks it's necessary.

very happy that I wont be pregnant in the heat of summer, but putting on all these layers with a growing belly is annoying. Especially since my long johns ride up and my pants ride down, seems like nothing stays where it should! I hope that I start getting warmer like people say. not to mention it seems like all the maternity shirts are paper thin!

so...I learned to day that I should not be out shoveling snow. I went to shovel the snow out of the runs for the chooks and ended up straining some back ligaments and making a trip to the chiropractor. it hurts and now I really can't do anything, my DH is gonna kill me....I need to pick up food for the chooks today and between the snow storm and my back I think I may have to ask him to help me go get it after he gets done working. oh boy! I miss ibuprofen.

so no shoveling for you guys! don't make the same mistake! worst part is that it is snowing so hard that you cant tell I even shoveled the runs and the chickens are all hanging out in the coop anyway!
be careful out there ladies...brutal snow and cold!

I was due last August, on the 4th. Had my son July 31st. Being late preggo in the summer was NOT fun. Just be glad you aren't doing it in FL!

everybody... Looks like I get to join this thread.. Just found out Sunday morning that I am pregnant. I am 36 and been married to my hubby for ten years come October. This will be our first child. It's a surprise, although we have discussed it over the years. But I guess it's about time since we aren't getting any younger.
We have been snowed in all week, so I wasn't able to contact my OB/GYN until today when they were finally able to re-open. They have my first appointment scheduled for February the 3rd. Being new and anxious about all of this, February 3rd seems like an eternity.
Anyway, that's my story. I wish everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Yeah the humidity wouldn't be fun but we get well above 100 here!

well. I get to post here too. I am 40, my wife is 37...we have 7 boys ages, 13, 12, 10, 8, 5, 3, 2...and NOW we are expecting our 8th baby this july 1st.
