Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

We have bees. I mentioned that to my OB and he said no honey.

I've had honey during my pregnancies. Never had a problem. Infact, I drank 1 tbs of ACV and 1 tbs of honey mixed in water to help ease my heartburn.

I always find it funny when people name off things that are bad for you (pregnant or not) i.e. honey, raw milk, fresh eggs, etc. Considering they're all God made (or nature made whichever you prefer) compared to man made, I'll take the natural over the man lab.

Also, raw honey during labor can help mom's have boosts of energies that enable them to work through contractions and have energy for pushing.

I ate and drank the entire time I labored up until I needed to push and then it was just fluids every once in a while. We were in a fantastic birthing center with our three midwives though. I hear they can be a little funny about that stuff in hospitals.

I have always eaten honey. I know you are not supposed to give it to little ones under age 1 due to botulism concerns. I have never heard of not eating it while pregnant.

Speaking of eating, I can not eat enough lately. I feel like I am constantly hungry! I'm not craving anything -- just really, really hungry all the time. I'm kinda annoyed with it, but am happy that I am finally eating again!

I am soooo tired and my boobies hurt. For the last 2 days and nights, Carly has done nothing but eat. I was under the impression that a babies stomach was the size of a walnut. Right about now I am wondering what continent this super sized walnut was grown on. I am having to supplement with formula and last night alone, she drank 3, 2oz bottles of formula along with as much breast milk as she pleased.

I hate it when they are so sore from feedings and your exhausted! Hoping you feel rejuvenated soon! She must be growing.

Ahhhh, a blessing in disguise (sorta!). I know being tired with sore boobs SUCKS, buuuuuuttt, its a good thing in a way. Your baby is THRIVING!!! She is growing and thats a wonderful thing. Im so, so glad she is doing so well! They do tend to have growth spurts and wanna eat ALL the time, then suddenly, it seems like all they wanna do is sleep. I think thats when all the food catches up with them and they have that growth spurt. Get ready to buy or use all the bigger diapers and clothes you have waiting for her!!

Seriously, I do hope you get more rest soon and she gives ya a little break.

Well, it's morning. And I still feel tired.

Figure I better get used to it, because once she's here, it's not like I'll get a lot of sleep at night, right? lol

I had another bit of bloody show before going to bed last night - just a tad more than the first one.

I didn't eat my eggplant/romaine lettuce last night. Thought I'd make it for today while kids are in school.

Have to go pay my phone bill and insurance this morning. and electric.

I also want to go walk walk walk and walk some more today.

I keep having sporadic contractions - nothing really consistent, and they are so mild, i'm like, "oh that was a contraction" after it's over.

Will have like 1, maybe 2, in a day. I am just hoping they're doing things to make things ready you know where
lol.png
As long as they are helping things a long, yay lol

We literally have EVERYTHING she needs - so I'm totally ready to go NOW. I mean, there's still a few things I WANT to get, but they can wait until after she's here. I want to get the play yard that matches her travel system, but don't really need that until she outgrows the bassinet. I'd also like to get her a swing, but I figure that can wait until later, too.

She has a bouncer, so I figure that would work for now ....even if I did find a different bouncer I like better but oh well, too late, she has this one

And I also want to get a butterfly mobile I saw at Kmart for her crib, and one of those canopy things to hang above her bed? and a net for holding her stuffies in a corner of the wall.

It's all just "I wants" at this point
