Gah, you ladies make some GORGEOUS babies!! SOOOO CUUUUTE!!

Well, looks like I'm here for the duration!

Took two tests yesterday and oh yes, came back within 30 seconds affirmative, there's a little bun in my oven!!

Totally excited/scared/thrilled/nervous all at the same time. DH is a little more on the scared/nervous side, but he's already coming around and woke up this morning and the first thing that came out of his mouth was "What do you think about the name Thatcher?"

We haven't told anybody yet (except for my very best friend and obviously you ladies, hope you can keep a secret

) and probably won't for at least another month or two. My mom lives 45 minutes away or so and we're really close, so that will be tough. DH's parents live in Maryland, so we need to put some thought into figuring out how to tell them around the same time. My mother and my MIL are awful at keeping secrets, so unless we want the cat out of the bag, we need to wait.

It's totally up to you when you tell. I told three very close friends right away. We waited to tell anybody else until 9 weeks along. Of course, this thread knew right away, too!

With my other two, we did tell right away. Some tell now and some wait. Have fun thinking up ways to tell. Everybody will be so excited for you! WooHoo!!!!!!!!

krote - it is hard to imagine how wonderful it will be. Even when it's hard and you are exhausted, you'll love that precious little one more than you ever thought possible!

So, work just threw me a surprise baby shower - it was the cutest thing, ever! It had a cow cake, pink bandana napkins, cow center pieces, the drs that I work for bought a huge catered lunch for us all, the whole nine yards! I wish I could post pictures now!

They bought us two of our big items - our play yard and the swing we wanted - and tons of other stuff! I feel like I could explode with excitement

AND tomorrow is my real baby shower! So this just took my excitement for that and blew it out of the water!
