Ladiesss!!!

I apologize for being so awful about getting on here for updates!

Anywhooo, all the excitement started last Thursday - was having super bad pains went to the doctor and she said it was just because she was so smushed up in there. And there was nothing she could do to comfort me until the baby was out

She offered to sweep my membranes, I declined... and then changed my mind as little miss priss took a big whack at my cervix as I was leaving

I can honestly say, it hurt nothing like what I was expecting - which was a relief! I ended up going back to work after my appointment and finishing up the work day (( at 4cm & 90% )) - DH and I went to the fair after work and walked around looking at all the animals

We got home about 10:30pm... and my contractions started about 11:30pm!!!

We were settled in the hospital by 2am-ish and well on the way! All in all I was in labor a total of 7.5 hours and pushed for an hour to an hour and a half of it! She was born at 6:18am on Friday, and we couldn't be more thrilled! I had a little extra bleeding compared to what they wanted, but they put a stop to it with a little bit of meds. She has been doing great other than we are trying to switch her days and nights back to how they should be - and I think that's just as tiring for DH and I as it is for her

I can't believe she was a week old yesterday though... I'm going to be a wreck come Monday... DH goes back to work. I've really enjoyed having him here with us... but we'll manage!

Hopefully I'll be able to get back on here more often, but my phone has been acting up and fb is the only thing it's been allowing
