CONGRATS!!! Boys are so fun and funny! Since you dont get as wrapped up in the whole 'cute clothes' thing as much, you seem to spend more time just enjoying their personalities and watching them be goofballs!

But, please, keep all those wonderful boy vibes waaaaaaayyy over there with you!

After 4 boys in a row I am

for a GIRL this time. Wont know for about 5 or 6 more weeks, though, cant stand the waiting!!

We took one of those 'Inteligender' tests the other day and it said GIRL, but I dot really trust it. I'm almost sorry I took it, since it kinda raises my hopes. I think I read somewhere that my chances of having a girl after 4 boys are actually lower than the normal 50/50 chance they give you as far as gender in each pregnancy.
I'm thinking my hubby only shoots boys these days! Sooo not fair since he had 3 girls before I met him!

The Chinese birth chart is never wrong! At least so far with anyone I've ever asked! LOL

Guess I'm the exception... Unless I get totally surprised,

Ahh, I got it. Well that is good you have some one to confide in. How far along are you now? I know you were thinking at 16 weeks you would tell him.

Only 9 weeks-
barnie.gif
!!! In my 10th week, but its very slow going!! I want to wait till 16 weeks, but I dont think I will make it. Plus my DD already knowing is hard because kids have a hard time watching what they say, ya know? I dont want her to feel like she has to constantly watch her every P and Q.
Its just too hard to keep it under wraps. And since I was approved for health insurance, I think he will not be so overwhelmed.

Now I'm trying to think of a way to tell him thats not too crazy, or stressful, or out of the blue. How do you put a positive spin on- Honey, we're expecting # 9!!!!???

And I think since its #6 for me, I'm already starting to see a TINY bump when I lay flat on my back. Hard to hide that kind of evidence! Usually I dont have a bump till 4 or 5 months, but, like they say, every preg is different!

Ok, Here is what you say.

"First I love you more than anything, and always will, now sit down, I have something to tell you... (Deep Breath).... I'm PREGNANT WITH QUINTUPLETS!!!!" Then he blacks out and when he comes back say "Just kidding, it's only one, Now that isn't so bad is it?"

Guess I'm the exception too- only 1 of my kids has been correctly predicted by any of the numerous Chinese birth charts out there! I guess the trick to them is, if you are turning a new age in the year your child is concieved, you are supposed to use THAT age, not your current age. Like, I am 33, but turn 34 this year, and I concieved in Jan of this year, so I am supposed to use the chart as if my age is 34 in the conception month. Which gives me a BOY every time

!!

I WANT a girl this time!! If I use my current age, then I get a girl, so, who knows??? Maybe I've been using them wrong all along?

The good news is: I think those tests are wrong leaning towards boy. From what I can tell, it measures testosterone levels in your urine (which both girls and boys have). If it says boy, it could be either, but if it says girl, it's probably right.

Hope that's true for you!!

I went through that again about 2 nights ago. Braxton hicks kicked in and got the wheels a turning in my head again! Went to walmart and got lots of stuff I needed. My bag is almost packed except for my going home clothes for me and baby.

Oh and have to add, for months DH and I have been going back and forth, back and forth trying to decide on a name. Every time we half way settle on one, we decide we really don't like it and start looking again. Last night we FINALLY settled on one and agreed we would not change it. Ian Joshua or maybe Iean. Have not settled on the spelling yet. My only brother, that I am really close to, is named Joshua (goes by Josh) so I called him last night and told him. Now that I have done that it is kind of hard to go back and change out minds.
