I managed to miss being pregnant in summer all together

. Found out I was preggo in September, and I am due in May

. So I will be using our pool over the summer, but I will be using it trying to get rid of left over belly flab....

LOL it's usually 100+ here in the summer, so I am more than happy to get this boy out in May. Couldn't have worked it better if I had planned this pregnancy

. I will be giggling at you summer preggos while holding my boy in my sleepless stuper.....

I've been so excited the last few days I forgot to post on here that we are having a BOY!!!!!!

I am so excited. I am a midwife student. I was a nurse for 15 years and then have been training for 3 years. I worked with a nurse midwife that was not super nice to me. I recently started going with another midwife that is amazing. She is nice and a great teacher. I still have some insecurities because of the other situation.

I have 11 more births and then I can take boards. SO I take clients now with my midwife supervising me.

I got a message the other day on facebook. It was a lady that I was the assistant to for her birth 2 years ago. She used the first midwife for her first baby. This midwife has 30+ years of experience and is very skilled and has great outcomes. She asked me if I was practicing yet, I explained where I was at and gave her my website. She asked for a consult. We had one and then she decided to use us for her midwives! I am so excited about it. That someone would choose me (and the midwife I work with now, who just started practicing in this area) over such an amazing midwife. And the fact that she sought me out, to find me on facebook.

I just had to share and knew you guys would appreciate this. I am just so excited!

can we stop talking about heat? After this mornings commute (which I should have elected to stay home) I am wayyyyy to ready for some heat. Looking forward to sandals and short sleeve shirts. All my maternity shirts are made for warm weather and I am running out of hoodies that fit. Even my cover alls are getting snug.
where is this heat? I am ready to wave good bye to the snow, especially since I have not been able to sled all winter and sledding is what makes winter fun. I love free entertainment.

I am glad to have my boy in may (april?

) so that I dont have to dress him up in a bunch of clothes to go outside right away.
