Don't worry, you'll do fine! You just take labor one contraction at a time. I like to stay in the moment in labor and not worry about how long it's been or how far to go, just get through this contraction right now and worry about the next one in a few minutes.

Same with the baby - take it one diaper change/feeding/nap at a time.

Congrats! I was sick from week 6 to week 18 and Zofran is like a miracle drug! I still felt a little nauseous with it, but was able to function and go to work. Without it I would have been in trouble.

I'm 31 weeks 1 day and this little one has been head down since before the 19 week ultrasound. Today she decided to move. She is now sideways and I'm very uncomfortable. She has her head under my left rib and her butt under my right rib. I'm trying some techniques from spinning babies hoping that she will go back head down. If she doesn't in 4 days or so I'm going to schedule an appointment with a chiropractor that does websters technique. I'm hoping she goes back head down. I'm very uncomfortable with her wedged under my ribs like this.

Thanks all! I had a little freak-out last night with a small amount of spotting. I read up on it and it was likely due to intercourse earlier in the day but wow, scary! It made me realize how ready and happy I was to be pregnant

Good luck getting her to move... I know that can't be comfortable!! Luckily, it's still early; she has plenty of time to move. I've also heard that acupuncture works very well to get one to turn.

I had hyperemesis with my first 2 pregnancies and Zofran is wonderful! I was vomiting from 7-35 weeks with both of them and Zofran kept me from vomiting as much, but I did still feel nauseous a lot.

I took it with my 3rd baby, too. I would take it when I felt nauseous and I never threw up.

I didn't feel sick at all with this 4th one and didn't need any anti-nausea drugs.

It's an expenisive drug, although I hear they have a generic version out now that wasn't available during my first pregnancies. It also causes constipation, so watch out for that.

I had spotting aroung week 5 and it totally freaked me out....it was the same day that I went into the dr to get the pregnancy test done there. So, I finally had confirmation and then started bleeding. I thought it was due to my riding a horse that day and was kicking myself...I ended up calling the dr and they had me come in for blood tests which all turned out fine. But I was really scared. hasn't happened since thank goodness.
even though the book said that was normal, I didn't think so!

wierd how I have started noticing all the baby toy commercials...there's a lot of cool stuff out there!
