Well, I am back from my first doctor visit!! I totally underestimated being around 7 weeks.. I am 9 weeks and 1 day according to the sonogram. The baby is an inch long.. We were able to see it's little heart beating like crazy at 176 beats per minute.. And it would wiggle its arms and legs.. It is finally starting to seem real!! I am going to have a baby..

Hmmm, I am going to say it's a boy, Just because my Little Guys HB was 176 at 9 weeks 3 days.... LOL, But they are all high, then slow down as the heart matures.

Thanks.. We are hoping for a boy. My family is full of girls. But I would be tickled with a girl too, of course. I get to find out in 10 more weeks hopefully.. If it will reveal itself. It may be shy like me and not spread'em ...

If I had stuck to that shyness, I wouldn't be on this thread...

Wow! That's a fast heartbeat...mine was 120.

Had my 30 week visit today. Dr told me they are going to do the c-section at 38 weeks!! My baby will be here in less than 8 weeks!!

I feel like I am never going to be ready.

So, um, just wondering.. Is anyone having a baby WITHOUT health insurance? I might be, so just wonderingif anyone has that issue to deal with. I'm waiting for approval, I appliedbefore I was pregnant, but I'm worried they will drop me once they find out.


ALGOPURPLE- I probably missed the 'why', so I am curious, Why are you having a C-section?

Dr is one of those that once you have had one, thinks that is the only way you can have any later. I am only planning on having this one and that is it so I am not going to complain. First son was breach (sp?).

Ahhh, yeah, I've been around those DR's before. Had to go through 5 of them before finding one who was willing to let me attempt vaginal birth after my C-section (had complete placenta previa w/#3), and I was succesful in my attempt- twice.

In the end, all that matters is that the baby gets born and mom and baby are healthy, IMO.

I WISH I was 30 weeks along, then I wouldnt have sooooo many weeks ahead of me, LOL!

Cant wait to see baby pics!
