Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

question time again....you guys are so helpful

do I really need diaper pail? I am reluctant to buy one since it seems like an overpriced garbage can with overpriced liners? I was thinking a covered trash can, emptied daily, would be good enough.

on another note....just got back from the dentist for a routine cleaning.....nearly passed out on the poor lady, I guess there is something to be said about lying on your back. I had to ask her to stop cause I was seeing stars. all went back to normal after she sat me up for a minute. just thought that was wierd and wanted to share.

Kelsey - are you like super duper hungry? I was so hungry this morning when I got up that I almost threw up. I am gonna have to change my morning routine and feed myself before the animals, they will be upset about that! But it has been this way for almost 2 weeks and wondered if it was just me or if we are at a stage where hunger strikes big time. I even wake up in the middle of the night (usually to pee) and am hungry.

I think a lidded trash can would be fine, but I know DH and I and the trash probably won't get taken out daily, that is why I am going with the diaper genie.

Yes, all the Time! Then I eat just a little and I'm stuffed, then 20-30 minutes later, I am back to starving!

I keep Healthy snacks around all the time, so the hunger doesn't get too bad. Banana Chips and Raw almonds are my best friends lately. Most people have to make sure they have their cell with them at all times, I have to make sure I have my banana chips and almonds at all times, lol. Everymorning the first thing I grab is a bowel of cereal with fruit, my day can't start until I have my breakfast, and I NEVER used to eat breakfast.

I have 4 more weeks.. The part that is making me crazy is knowing that it already has a weiner or a va-jay-jay right now and I have to wait 4 MORE WEEKS!! I will surely die of anticipation....

HA!

I know....so does mine. And it's had one for quite a while. I am cheating a little bit because usually they make you wait until 20 or even 22 weeks and I bugged my doctor--so I'm going in at 19 weeks.

My next appointment is Monday at 16w5d and I assume they will let me schedule mine then. I will be 20 weeks on April 20th, so I will probably pick that day.. Mostly because my dad's birthday is the following Sunday on the 24th and he is hoping for a grandson something awful. I thought if it turns out to be a boy, that would make a good birthday surprise for him. So that will give me only 4 days to have to keep it a secret!!

Rcentner: Funny? I think it's a strange turn of events considering thats what got us here in the first place.....

I think the statistic for women who bleed in early pregnancy is that over 95% see whatever caused the bleeding resolve itself (it just stops bleeding with no real idea what caused it/stopped it). Bleeding really only becomes an issue if it keeps going or becomes heavy bleeding (like, 2 pads worth or more in an hour)

Still scary though.

i have been soooo sick with a sinus infection or something all week. UGH!! can't wait until it's all cleared up....is it September yet???

Just thought I would add, for the first 3-4 months of my pregnancy I spotted every month around the 15th of every month and also had pains similar to menstural (SP) cramping. It eventually stopped and everything is fine. I did google it and found out that that is fairly common.
