Awww, How exciting!
When we told my Family, we invited them all over to my parents for brunch, which isn't unusual, as we like to get together when we are in town visiting my parents. Well just before we sat down to eat, I gathered everybody and gave my mom a gift bag. With a confused look she opened it and it was a cross stich pattern birth announcement (She makes these for all the grandkids). She looks at me and says "Wait, what is this? Are you PREGNANT!?" I nodded and my Aunt next to me burst into tears, and my Grandma started celebrating as did the rest of the family. They all knew we had be trying to concevie for over two years and tried fertility treatments, so they were super excited!!!
Now with my MIL, we gave her a onesie that said "What happens at grandmas stays at grandmas." She also burst into tears, but hers were "OMG you aren't ready tears
" (She thought because her and FIL waited 10 years to have kids, that we should too.) . But it didn't take long for her to get excited, now just last week she was sobbing for joy as she watched my last ultrasound
