Insurance Issues.

My Husband started a new job with great insurance. The insurance company was bought out by United Healthcare, but the benefits basically stayed the same. However, since my regular OB-GYN was not on the provider list for the company before it was bought out, I switched doctors. I got my first EOB from United Healthcare this weekend and it has us paying non-provider deductibles for my visits. What? So, I double checked the provider list again and it has CHANGED. The new doctor I'm going to now is not on the list. Great. Just great.

Fortunately, my old OB-GYN graciously is taking my back and even gave me an appointment on the same day as I was supposed to go to the new one. But, wow, what a pain. I have $978 in deductible payments to pay now.

Also remember to take plently of Vitamin C while taking your iron, orange juice, grape juice, or Emergen-C are great souces, I prefer Emergen-C since it is 1000mg in a serving. You can also go buy an iron skillet and cook out of that.
