Yay!!! My MiL has persistently asked for me to go register. I've been putting it off for a month now. Looks like I'll have to in the next week or two while she is in town.

I think I'm going to be very overwhelmed...

What was your favorite gift/registry? Did you play any games? Which ones?

LOL, I got yelled at for not having enough on my registry!! I had about 15 items on there

I actually registered on Target.com - it was a little more difficult because you have to be aware of what's online and what's in store (mostly just online), but it was relatively easy and not too painful!!

I got a car seat which I really wasn't expecting, but I am thrilled with... nothing else too out of the ordinary; lots of clothes, diapers, crib sheets, etc. which are great, because that's mostly what I am lacking.

We did play games - one where everyone had a bracelet to start with and you couldn't say "baby" or the baby's name. If you did, you lost your bracelet to the person who caught you and whoever had the most at the end won. There was another where people had to guess how big I was and cut a piece of ribbon to the estimated size. And one more where everyone had to answer questions about me and whoever got the most correct, won.

Rare, I'll try to get pictures up soon!

I passed!

The doctor just called me and told me the first test (after the drink) I was at 193!

Which is borderline but the next two were good!

He said no refined sugars (candy bars, pop, etc)--which I don't really drink anyway...and he said babies born to moms with blood sugar issues tend to be on the "large side." He said 9-10lbs.

That c-section is starting to sound better & better.

(I have to have one anyway because of other issues--but this news makes me feel a little bit better!)

I'm about to go have my glucose test this morning.. I dread it after some of the stories on here...

But the silver lining is that I get to have another ultrasound afterwards..

She was so jiggly last time they didn't get a good look at her heart. Can't wait to see how she looks now!!! I hope they let me have some photos like the last time. I will post them when I get back if they do...

I'm having my glucose test next Wednesday.

We're stressing at only having 14-15 weeks to go, because we're still building the "nursery"!!!

My DD and our new baby girl will both be sharing this room, so we've built it 17.5' x 12' and they'll have a 2'x12' closet to share.

I'm just ready to be choosing paint!!!

Once we have all the walls up, and the roof on, we'll be putting in a door to the main part of our trailer. I just can't wait!!

Back from the test and shopping for some fabric to make curtains in the nursery!

I know a few ladies that are going to be Jealous with a capital J.... They let me have an option between the drink or eating 18 jelly beans in 2 minutes or less. Not the little ones, the fat ones. I had to eat 3 or 4 at a time to beat the time limit. It was some heavy chewing and my jaws got tired, but I did it. Much more pleasant than a flat, sugery drink! As for the ultrasound, she is a stubborn little thing. A trait of her daddys no doubt! The last time she took 30 minutes before she gave even a glimpse of her privates. So much of a little glimpse that the tech said she was only pretty sure it's a girl.. This time around she only blocked her privates for a second with the heel of her foot, then we got the full monty! She was proud of it this time..

BUT!!! She refused to uncover her face..

So I have no picture to show off. Ya'll will have to wait just like we do. Ughh..... Atleast I can safely buy pink stuff now!

And I thought I had alot left to do! I've got 12 weeks give or take. The nursery is about finished but, my house looks like a college dorm room from cleaning the junk out of the nursery. I've tossed a bunch of stuff but have no idea where I am going to shove what's left. Mobile homes have zero storage space!!!!
