Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

I just got done wet-vac'ing the kids' bathroom carpet because a certain little boy smashed his poop into it I scrubbed the carpet by hand first, and really scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed! and it didn't get the smell out. I used the wet vac - see if that helps...if not, I told E I want to rip the carpet out have have just the linoleum under it for the kids bathroom.

This is at least the 100th time I have cleaned poop out of that carpet

Before I did the wet vac - I inspected the bathroom. Someone tossed dirty (as in poo'ed in) underwear under the sink, another one behind the toilet No wonder the stench was so bad!! And of course I'm the only one who inspects that bathroom (heaven forbid my husband should help clean the kids' bathroom!

I think I need a nap.

no wonder some species eat their young.

Today is the first day of my 37th week. I woke up at 3:30 this morning feeling crampy like I would when starting my period. I got up and drank some water, peed, posted on FB, and went back to bed.

Feeling fine now, although a little slimy in my ahem area. I am thinking it's the extra discharge that can sometimes accompany third trimesters.

Waiting for my 3 yr old to fall asleep so I can take a nap, too.

So... I am 38 weeks and 2 days along. And I am pretty sure my water has broken this morning!! TMI But it is sort of slimy watery with a red tint to it. And keeps just coming out in teaspoon fulls here and there. Needless to say, I have been running around the house getting the last few rooms touched up, laundry done, a few more things packed into my bag. Waiting to put the laundry in the dryer, then I will get a shower and call my OB... No contractions yet, though. But I'm still nervous!
Will keep you all updated as I can..

Sounds like it!! Good luck!!

Sorry, I had to laugh.

That brings up a story my mother tells about me when I was a baby. I had to have cloth diapers because I was allergic to the plastic diapers. Somehow I figured out how to take a diaper off and I had slung poo all over the nursery and had it all over myself, too. I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me.

I dont think I'll ever NOT have pee to clean up off the bathroom floor! I was pretty sad about not having any more girls, but now I am just happy to have another child, and I look forward to some hopefully girl grandbabies someday! About 5 more weeks till D-day for me!
